The founder of this institute Late. Tukaramji Motghare was himself a teacher, and would understand the need for structured education. The rural students should not be deprived of education, everyone shculd be educated empowered and established to be a contributor to society. By this noble cause and with the help of charitable people around, the founded "Gandhi VidyalayShikshanSanstha in 1956. At first, Late Shri, Tukaramji Motghare (President Late. Shri. Vistarji Kawade (Vice President), Late. Shri. Ganpat Patil KurZekar (Vice-President), Late. Shri. Motiramji Vairagade, Late. Shri. Motiramji Hatwar, Late. Shri. Dinkarrao Shabde and Late. Shri. Rambhau Ukey were involved in the management.
Gandhi VidyalayShikshanSanstha's first school was started in 1956 as 'Gandhi Vidyalay in Kondha (Kosra), tehsil Pauni, Dictrict Bhandara. Analyzing the response and the devotion and determination of rural people for school education, Tukaramji Motghare decided to concrete the educational development in the remote villages in Bhandara district and impart education at multiple locations.

Despite of many hardships he endeavoured to establish Gandhi Vidyalay at Virli (Khanda) (1955), Pahela (1983), Walni (chcul) (1963), Sawara (1984), Virli (Buj) (1984), As some circumstances didn't support, the schools In Parsodi and Bramhi. primary School of Kondha as well as D.Ed College of Pauni had to be closed, On 16th August 1993, Late. Shri. Tukaramji Motghare passed away . After the death of Shri. Tukaram Motghare there was a dispute in management. In such crisis situation, every employee of the society started to feel insecure, but Shri. Haribhauji Kawde, a retired teacher stood firmly with Vice-President Late. Shri. Mistarji Kawde.
After the period of two years, Adv. Anand Jibnkate (President) and Late. Shri. K. N. Nikhade, Secretary took the baton and envisioned a bright future and brought prosperous to the institute. Adv. Anand Jibhikate is an exemplary leader who is always mentoring every developmental activity. While being a native of Vakeshwar, during his schooling days he himself has faced all challenges of rural region.
And thus has a strong connect with all the real-life proplems of villagers. Our management team has a strong efficacy to create an ideal school environment and pull urban Crowd towards rural schools.
At present, GVSSK Society is flourishing in all 6 school locations and scaling up the system recently started a Priyadarshani Convent School at Kondha Each campus is fully fledged with the facilities like digital classrooms, spacious play-grounds, well equipped laboratories and libraries, in the midst of greenery. We are proud and privileged of our school infrastructure which stands tall and strong in competition to all schools of urban part GVSSK is committed development of educational network off all basic and professional courses for rural students to face the challenges of 21st century under the young leadership of the president, Adv. A. Z. Jibhkate and to emerge as a model rural education Society.
